What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore—
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over—
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?
Update
I have this horrible habit of not wanting to do something, and then it keeps getting pushed off so I have even more to do. That's how I am with blog posts, I don't want to do it for one week and it happens that is a week I read a ton! So I feel overwhelmed and the I keep pushing off wrting all my book reviews and really just any post in general. Maybe I'm just in a blogging lull I don't know. I hope I'm not the only one who feels like this, I feel like a horrible blogger.
Well I can tell you how many book reviews I have to write (which is a lot):
- Delirium Stories: Hana, Annabel, and Raven
- The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight
- City of Ashes
- City of Glass
- City of Fallen Angels
- My Life Next Door
- The Great Gatsby
I will try to be a more diligent blogger. Sorry about not ever blogging this past week :( and I will try to write those reviews soon and hopefully some other fun posts. If I don't post or if I forget to write a review for something please help me out and e-mail me or something. Thanks for sticking with me.
DFTBA
-Jane
