The Night Full of Stars
The glimmering stars
In the paintings’ sky,
Dance before the human eye.
The city beneath
The waiting stars,
Is full of wondrous eyes.
The stars will never
Change as they dance
Though the night full of flight.
The stars’ swirl and spiral,
Spin and twist around
Above the city on the ground
The night full of stars
Glimmers above the city
And it will forever be that way.
OK do this poem was an Ekphrasis (a poem written based on a piece of art) and I chose to do mine on Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. The poem might make more sense with the painting so here:
Well even if it was crappy I hope you enjoyed and please tell me what you think and be honest!
Hope everyone is enjoying there week. . . well maybe you are I am to busy with school
